Benel Energy was engaged by Kizi Oil and Gas Limited to execute an appraisal and development drilling campaign for the Amaniba Marginal Oil Field located offshore in the Eastern Niger Delta continental shelf in 40–60 ft of water.
Discovered in 1996, the field’s current phase involves drilling the first appraisal well into the target reservoir to acquire static and dynamic data, ahead of three horizontal development wells for full field development.
Benel Energy’s scope spans end-to-end field execution, including detailed well engineering design, multi-interface management across subsurface, production, and facilities, ancillary services contracting, long-lead material procurement, and logistics hub setup and shorebase coordination.
Detailed design is complete, with operations readiness confirmed for Jack Up mobilisation and drilling commencement in Q2 2026.
