Benel Energy was engaged to deliver Well Engineering and Project Management services for the Ibiom Marginal Field work program on a Turnkey basis, with a mandate to achieve First Oil.

Our scope spanned the full project lifecycle from subsurface review, well trajectory design, and recovery planning, through to contractor management, logistics and shorebase coordination, operations supervision, and cost and schedule performance tracking.

Re-activated in June 2025, Benel provided fully integrated turnkey services for the Ibiom drilling campaign, convening all service contractors and the drilling rig for the Drill Well on Paper (DWOP) workshop, and coordinating end-to-end project execution across operations, QAQC, logistics, and personnel management. Project successfully drilled the two appraisal wells with hydrocarbon discoveries. Logged wells and completion ongoing for first oil.
